Okayish stay, some annoyances

warm welcomeblunt receptionistpayment problem
Fiona at reception greeted us warmly upon arrival, acceptable.
The receptionist's blunt tone and taking payment before arrival really angered me. This changed the agreed payment terms and felt dishonest, leaving a bad taste even before I got to the hotel.

an okay stay, nothing to write home about

noisy partyshower temperature
i must say, the noise situation was not ideal. there was a party downstairs that went on until 4.30am, then the party moved upstairs. it was very noisy. also, the shower temperature kept switching from freezing cold to scalding hot, i was not fond of that at all.
